The life skills workshops listed below are offered through Willowbank Creative Center. We can provide these workshops/classes at our location or yours.  

The Art of Listening —  Listening --- REALLY listening --- is a gift we can give at any time.  True listening requires practice.  Using simple exercises in groups and in pairs, we will learn to distinguish between affirmation and agreement,  and listening, dialogue, and discussion.  The ability to listen without judgement is an important first step in the resolution of any conflict.      Contact persons:  Carole McNamee,

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) —  EFT is a simple, do-it-yourself procedure that involves focusing on a problematic feeling while tapping on acupuncture points for a minute or so.  The process looks a little peculiar, but the results are amazing—rapid, providing often long-lasting relief from a wide range of problems.  Contact persons:  Carole McNamee, Paula Markham

The Joy of Breathing —  This four-week class helps reduce stress, improve physical health, and cultivate peace of mind.  We breathe over 15,000 times every day, and each breath affects the immune system, the nervous system, the heart, the digestion--literally every aspect of our health and wellbeing. Babies breathe naturally, but by adulthood, most Americans are literally holding their breath, and don't even know it!  This class teaches self-awareness and simple, natural techniques you can use every day to increase your energy and lift your spirits.  Facilitator Paula Markham.
